The Phantom HSS Drill DIN 1869 is the standard drill for producing extra deep holes. This extra-long version with a cylindrical shank is designed for precise drilling. The 118° point angle, combined with the thinned point, ensures low cutting forces and accurate centering. The steam oxide surface treatment (from ø 2.5 mm) improves the adhesion of cooling lubricants and prevents cold welding. For optimal results and precision at this length, drilling a pilot hole is recommended.
