The Phantom HSS-E NC 120° Centering Drill Bit (extra-long version) is a specialized precision tool. Its long shank makes it possible to center in hard-to-reach places. This drill bit is specifically designed for self-centering drills with a point angle of 118°. The 120° geometry ensures that the tip of the twist drill makes contact first and guides itself perfectly, even before the main cutting edges begin to cut. This guarantees a smooth start to drilling and extremely high positioning accuracy. Manufactured from HSS-E (cobalt), this center drill is heat-resistant and therefore also suitable for stainless steel.
