International Tools (IT) ECO HSS Machine Tap for cutting metric threads. This tap is your choice for reliable and cost-effective performance in general-purpose steels. This HSS tap features a 1/4″ (6.35 mm) hex shank (compliant with DIN 3126 / ISO 1173 C6.3). This allows you to clamp the tap directly into standard bit holders or your (cordless) drill. The 2–3-start thread provides an excellent balance between a controlled start and the required depth, making the tap universally suitable for both through and blind holes.
