Phantom UNI HSS-E Machine Tap DIN 371 Metric, TiN
The Phantom UNI HSS-E machine tap (DIN 371) with a thickened shank is specially designed for blind holes. The sharp 40° helix angle effectively lifts chips out of the hole. The TiN coating reduces friction, resulting in more holes drilled in steel and a longer tool life. The short cut (2–3 threads) and the universal anti-overcut geometry ensure a reliable and dimensionally accurate result.
