This Phantom HSS Stub Drill, conforming to DIN 1897, is an extra-short, precision-ground version with a cylindrical shank, designed for professional metalworking. Thanks to the cross-cut starting at 1.6 mm, pre-centering is unnecessary, and the drill bit starts exactly on position. The drill bit has a standard point angle of 118° and is steam-tempered starting at 2 mm for extended service life. Ideal for stable and accurate drilling in (thin) sheet metal. The standard choice for precision.
