The Phantom HSS-E Set of Jobber Drills DIN 338 Step-Point, with a three-fluted shank, is the ideal choice for professional metalworkers who want to drill precise, low-burr holes in stainless steel sheet metal. This set contains short, ground HSS-E twist drills. Starting at 4 mm, the shank features a three-fluted connection, which eliminates slippage in the drill chuck. The precise cross-cut grinding, combined with the special step-point geometry and a 118° point angle, guarantees a perfectly round and clean borehole in stainless steel. The steam-annealed surface treatment increases wear resistance. The set contains a selection of drill bits from product group 11.447 and is supplied in a well-organized plastic case.
The step size per diameter is variable for ideal force distribution and therefore this Step-Point drill ensures controlled and easy drilling. Ideal for sheet steel (≤2mm) and profiles, it also effortlessly drills round, burr-free holes in wood and plastic, regardless of the thickness. Allows drilling at an angle and does not slip thanks to the 3-chamfered shank.
