Set of International Tools (IT) ECO HSS Hand Taps, in accordance with DIN 5157, 2-piece set, specifically designed for cutting G (BSP—British Standard Pipe) pipe threads. This set of reliable industrial-grade tools is manufactured from high-quality high-speed steel (HSS) for consistent performance in general steel grades. The set consists of a pilot tap and a finish tap. This two-step system (No. 1 and No. 2), optimized for pipe threads, distributes the cutting load progressively. This ensures precise thread formation, with the pre-cutter centering the thread and the finish cutter cutting the G-thread to its full nominal depth.
