Manufactured from high-quality HSS for reliable manual use in general steel grades. This 2-step set distributes the cutting load, with both taps cutting to the exact nominal finish size. The taps are distinguished by their short and medium cutting lengths. The tap with the medium cut (approx. 3–5 threads) centers and cuts the first thread. The tap with the short cut (approx. 1–2 threads) is essential for finishing and tapping close to the bottom of blind holes.
