International Tools (IT) ECO HSS Hand Tap Set, compliant with DIN 2181, 2-piece set, specifically designed for cutting Metric Fine (MF) threads. This set of reliable industrial-grade tools is manufactured from high-quality high-speed steel (HSS) for consistent performance in general steel grades. The set consists of a pilot tap and a finish tap. This two-step system, optimized for fine threads, distributes the cutting load and ensures precise thread formation. The pilot tap (No. 1) centers and cuts the profile, after which the finish tap (No. 2) cuts the thread to its full nominal depth. This makes the set ideal for precise manual tapping.
