Professional Phantom HSS Tap, ISO 529 Form C, specifically designed for installing UNF Phan-Coil thread inserts. Manufactured from high-quality high-speed steel (HSS) for reliability. This tap cuts the special oversized UNF thread into which you insert the Phan-Coil insert (for thread repair or reinforcement). A characteristic feature of Form C is the very short cutting length (approx. 1–2 threads). This makes the tap essential for the finishing pass and for tapping blind holes close to the bottom. After installing the insert, the nominal UNF internal thread is formed.
