Professional Phantom UNI HSS-E Machine Tap (Long Version) for machine tapping of metric threads.

As a Universal (UNI) tool, this tap is made of HSS-E. Thanks to its special geometry, this tap performs exceptionally well in a wide range of materials, such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. This saves costs, as a single tap can be used for multiple materials, allowing you to reduce your inventory. This long version features a reinforced shank (DIN 371 style) for maximum stability, even in deeper applications. The chip break (type B) and the 3.5–5-thread cut are optimized for through-holes, ensuring that chips are effectively evacuated forward. The special anti-overcut geometry guarantees an extremely dimensionally accurate final result.
